Philip R. Wills, III (Trey), has been active in the real estate industry for over 25 years, bringing extensive experience across all facets of the field. As co-founder of Wills Companies, Trey leads all entitlement, development, and construction activities for the firm and its affiliated ventures. Throughout his career, he has secured approvals for the development or acquisition of over $2 billion in residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Trey and his brother Tim, both born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, began their real estate careers working alongside their father, P. Reed Wills II. A few years later, the brothers launched Potomac Land Management, which would evolve into Wills Companies—a multi-faceted real estate development firm based in the D.C. area. The firm has since earned recognition for its diverse portfolio and performance, including being named the #1 Fastest Growing Company in the region by The Washington Business Journal in 2005. In addition to his professional endeavors, Trey serves on the Board of First Virginia Community Bank. A passionate outdoorsman, he has also served as a member of the Maryland Wildfowl Commission.
